Ferrari Wine and Colours Tour

Woke up to a gorgeous fall day even though it started out at +1 degrees. Our adventure with my right hand man, started with a gathering at the timmies in Milton, where 20 Ferrari's were awaiting our day. Always awkward walking into a club that you don't know ......... but with a smile on our faces we marched in. We were greeted with warm faces and firm hand shakes. Everyone was very friendly and eager to talk about their cars.

The route we took the winery was spectacular. Winding roads and beautiful landscape.

Upon arrival we soon learned the ins and outs of what happens from soil to table of the good stuff.

A little tasting and then lunch.

Needless to say the hubster and I had a great day and look forward to more adventures with this new club.

Paradise in the Desert

The beauty of being able to travel is to be able to enjoy waking up to seeing something new and breathtaking!

It never ceases to amaze me how beautiful and different this world is.

Jet Setting to Palm Desert, CA

I'm off for a 6 day trip to Palm Desert with my bro and wife. Super excited as it is my first trip there.

Let me tell you LAX is a pain in the ass to get around in. Ton's of terminals that you walk to or if you know the locals there are shuttles you can catch that make life way simpler.

Darling little airport in the bowl of the mountains, palm springs....is a beautiful tiny airport. Greeted with very warm weather and a gorgous sun set.

Fever hits our house

Once again fever has invaded our house. Last night sweetpea had a temp of 104.5. After not feeling well all day, I took her into the hospital. 6 hours and lots of bloodwork later....she was diagnosed with a bacterial infection. Advil and a antibiotics were prescripted.

Things are looking up today. Fever is down and she is eating and drinking. Thank God!
